Santen Providing Disaster Relief to Communities Impacted by 2024 Noto Peninsula Earthquake

January 15, 2024, Osaka, Japan – We would like to extend our deepest condolences and sympathies to everyone impacted by the 2024 Noto Peninsula Earthquake, and offer our heartfelt hopes for swift recovery in the affected communities.

In consideration of the significant damage caused by the January 1, 2024, earthquake, Santen Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. (hereinafter, Santen) today announced a donation of 20 million yen by the company to support victims and to help with reconstruction efforts. Santen also announced that it will implement a matching donation^* program for employees. All donations will be made through the Japanese Red Cross Society.

In addition, Santen will deliver products as relief supplies to the Japan Ophthalmological Association.

*A system whereby the company matches employee donations with a donation of the same amount
