Working at Santen Asia
Headquartered in Singapore, Santen Asia is home to regional teams in Commercial (Sales & Marketing), Supply Chain Management, Quality Assurance, Medical Affairs, and Market Access. Our presence in Asia (outside of Japan and China) dates to the 1990s. In the beginning, Santen worked with distributor partners to deliver our products to physicians and patients in the region. Today, we have a strong presence in Asia, with direct operations established in several countries that include Singapore, Malaysia, Philippines, South Korea, Thailand and Vietnam. Additionally, we continue to collaborate with distributor partners in countries such as Indonesia, Myanmar, Cambodia, Pakistan, Sri Lanka and Australia.
As a testament to our continued commitment to investing in Asia, the Santen Group entered a strategic collaboration with the Singapore Eye Research Institute (SERI) in 2017. By combining the capabilities of both organizations in ophthalmic research and development, the collaboration aims to develop new technologies in eye health, with a special focus on the diseases prevalent in the region.
